Gators News: Women’s basketball, swimming and diving release schedules
It is humpday! Welcome to a midweek edition of Gators News and today we look ahead to the upcoming season as two Florida athletic programs released schedules for their impending campaigns. Meanwhile, things remain rather quiet as we await the start of college football season which is less than three weeks away. In the meantime, here is the latest from the Gator Nation.
Women's basketball
https://twitter.com/GatorsWBK/status/1427630031879221274 The women's basketball team released its non-conference schedule on Tuesday, with the season opener slated for Tuesday, Nov. 9, against the Georgia State Panthers in the O'Connell Center. The squad plays in two two-team events in November: the Preseason WNIT Classic and San Juan Shootout.
Swimming and diving
https://twitter.com/GatorsSwimDv/status/1427697243277037572 The swimming and diving team also released its schedule yesterday, highlighted by six home meets this season. The Gators open the season against the Florida Atlantic Owls in Boca Raton on Oct. 2 and close the schedule at the Auburn Invite from Dec. 17 to 21.
