The Colorado State track and field team is heading home with three All-American honors.
There were six Rams who competed in the NCAA championships at Mike A. Myers Stadium and Soccer Field in Austin, Texas.
Here's how each fared in their events.
Gabi McDonald
The Fort Collins native notched two All-American placements, including a first-team spot in discus with a seventh-place finish. Her top throw was 189-feet, 6-inches in the discus.
In the shot put, McDonald hit a personal best mark of 56-6 3/4 on her final attempt to jump into 12th to earn second-team All-American honors.

Klaire Kovatch
The redshirt freshman placed 21st in discus in her first appearance in the NCAA championships with a top throw of 169-11.
