Gabe Brown reportedly agrees to ‘partially guaranteed deal’ with Oklahoma City Thunder

Gabe Brown will continue his basketball career as a member of the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Shortly after going undrafted in Thursday’s NBA Draft, Brown reportedly agreed to a “partially guaranteed” deal with the Thunder. Adam Zagoria of The New York Times reported the news, and added that he will play for the Thunder in the Summer League.

247Sports is reporting that Brown’s deal is officially an exhibit 10 contract.

Brown averaged 11.6 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game this past season. He led the Spartans in scoring this year as well.

An exhibit 10 contract is essentially a training camp invite so Brown will have an uphill battle to earn a spot on the Thunder’s roster. However, it does at least bode well for him in at least playing for the team’s NBA G League affiliate — the Oklahoma City Blue.
