The Florida State women's soccer team looks to remain undefeated and advance in the NCAA tournament today against Morehead State.
FSU (16-0-1) is the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA women's soccer tournament. The Seminoles have the No. 3 offense in the nation, averaging 3.18 goals per game. They are led by ACC Offensive Player of the Year Onyi Echegini, whose 13 goals were best in the ACC, and Taylor Huff, whose 12 assists are tied for sixth-best in Division I.
Brian Pensky, the ACC Coach of the Year, will also look to ACC Freshman of the Year Jordynn Dudley, whose 10 goals were second in the conference only to Echegini.
Morehead State (9-5-5) won the Ohio Valley Conference championship by beating No. 1 seed Tennessee Tech 1-0 in overtime. The Eagles, led by co-OVC Coach of the Year Chris Fox, are seeking their first NCAA tournament win in four trips.
