Highlights from Friday in high school sports:

BASEBALL

  • Junior Cooper Tinkey pitched a no-hitter with four strikeouts and four walks and was 3 for 3 with a double and two RBIs at the plate, Carter Kimble went 2 for 3 with a run scored, Caleb Sebek had a double and two RBIs, and Luis Jungo had a double and an RBI to lead Ventura (9-6, 6-2) to a 6-0 win over Oxnard (6-7, 2-6) in a Channel League game.

  • Alec Fontyn went 2 for 4 with a double and five RBIs, Gavin Samora went 3 for 4 with a double and two RBIs, Tommy Castaneda and Austin DeMello each went 2 for 5 with a double and an RBI, and Damien Valdez finished 4 for 4 to lead Rio Mesa (9-5-1, 5-3) to a 10-7 win over Dos Pueblos in a Channel League game.

  • Mason Trigo and Nyko Garcia had doubles for Buena (1-13, 1-7) in its 7-1 loss to Santa Barbara in a Channel League game.

  • Mekaeo Lualemana went 3 for 4 with a double and three RBIs, Sal Lopez was 3 for 5, and JJ Carmona had a hit and two RBIs for Pacifica (6-8-1, 3-5) in its 6-5, 10-inning loss to San Marcos in a Channel League game.

  • Ethan Gibbel allowed one run in six innings, Luc Olson allowed one run in four innings of relief to pick up the win, Nate Castellon was 2 for 3 with a solo home run, and Brandon Hoffman went 2 for 4 with two RBIs as Calabasas (8-5, 2-1) defeated Westlake 3-2 in 10 innings to win two games in the three-day, three-game set between Marmonte League rivals. Jesse Beer allowed two runs in eight innings, Will Kaczynski went 2 for 4 with two doubles, Mac McKinley was 2 for 4, Dillon Marrisett went 2 for 5, Nate Johnson had a hit and an RBI, and Noah Stead had an RBI for the Warriors (10-2, 1-2).

  • James Latshaw pitched four shutout innings and went 3 for 3 with a double, Elijah Clayton finished 3 for 3 with two doubles, two stolen bases, two runs scored, a walk and an RBI, Quentin Young had a triple and an RBI, and Carson Sheffer had a double and an RBI to lead Oaks Christian (6-4, 2-1) to a 10-0 win over Thousand Oaks (7-6, 1-2) in a Marmonte League game.

  • Will Michelman singled home two runs to cap a six-run bottom of the seventh inning as Agoura earned a 9-8, walk-off win over Newbury Park in a Marmonte League game. Jack Gewert walked with the bases loaded, Mike Moran was hit by pitch to drive in a run, and Kaden Graves had a two-run single to set up Michelman's walk-off hit. Braden Oliver went 2 for 3 with a homer for the Chargers (7-6, 1-2). Luke Medhurst allowed three hits and three runs while striking out eight in five innings and was 1 for 3 with a double, Paul Lizzul went 3 for 4 with a double and two RBIs, Nathaniel Nunez was 2 for 4 with a double and two RBIs, Tyler Field went 2 for 3 with an RBI, Drew Paez was 1 for 2 with an RBI, and Cade Falsken went 2 for 4 for the Panthers (7-4, 2-1).

  • Trotter Enright had a triple and three RBIs, Boston Bateman hit a solo homer, Nate Tostado was 1 for 2 with an RBI and allowed three earned runs in six innings on the mound, and Brayden Smith was 2 for 3 to lead Camarillo (10-3, 6-0) to a 7-6 win over Moorpark in a Coastal Canyon League game. Cameron Johnson went 2 for 2 with an RBI, Derek Nickels was 1 for 1 with an RBI, and Taylor Busch went 1 for 4 with two RBIs for the Musketeers (7-9-1, 2-3-1).

  • Isaiah Tillman allowed just two hits in 6.2 scoreless innings, Dean Barkman got the final out for the save, and Zach Nagy was 2 for 3 with a double to lead Royal (12-5, 3-3) to a 1-0 win over Simi Valley in a Coastal Canyon League game. Diego Barajas allowed three hits and one run in six innings, Hector Pina went 1 for 2 with a double, and Landen Adair was 1 for 3 for the Pioneers (6-5-2, 2-3-1).

  • Santiago Ramirez took a perfect game into the sixth inning before settling for a one-hit shutout with seven strikeouts, Timmy Alvarez was 2 for 5 with two doubles and five RBIs, Tyler Antwine went 2 for 3 with a double and an RBI, Alex Tobias was 2 for 3, and Ruben Venegas was 2 for 4 to lead Santa Paula (8-5, 6-0) to a 12-0 victory over Carpinteria in a Citrus Coast League game.

  • Luis Cervantes went 2 for 4 with a double and three RBIs and allowed two hits and no earned runs in 4.2 innings on the mound, Allan Rodriguez was 2 for 3 with an RBI, and Aurelinano Perez went 1 for 2 with two RBIs to lead Hueneme to a 6-3 win over Foothill Tech in a nonleague game. Robert Juker hit a solo homer, Russell Brown was 2 for 3 with a double, Adam Arth went 2 for 4, and Bronson Taylor and Cooper Casey had RBIs for the Dragons.

SOFTBALL

  • Baylany Magana allowed one hit in five innings, Alizsa Rosas went 3 for 3 with two RBIs, Kayla Lorona was 2 for 3 with two RBIs, Jiselle Garcia went 2 for 3 with an RBI, and Natalie Rodarte was 1 for 3 with two RBIs to lead Oxnard (11-3-1, 8-0) to a 10-0, five-inning win over Ventura in a Channel League game.

  • Jordan Gonzalez went 2 for 4 with a double, triple and four RBIs, Isabella Rodriguez was 2 for 4 with a double and two RBIs, Addison Coe went 3 for 4 with an RBI, Madison Shay had a double and an RBI, Sofia Diaz was 1 for 1 with an RBI, Aubrey Trigo was 1 for 2 with an RBI, and Divina Miranda allowed three hits in five shutout innings to lead Buena (4-8, 2-6) to a 15-0, five-inning win over Santa Barbara in a Channel League game.

  • Analia Lopez allowed three runs while striking out eight in a complete-game effort, Analia Lopez was 2 for 2, and Ciara Lopez went 1 for 4 with an RBI for Rio Mesa (12-2, 6-1) in its 3-1 loss to Dos Pueblos in a Channel League game.

  • Ilove’a Brittingham finished 4 for 4 with two home runs and three RBIs, Terrianna Kelley was 2 for 4 with a double, homer and three RBIs, Gia Otani went 3 for 4 with a homer and three RBIs, and Paityn Lavin allowed seven hits and no earned runs while striking out seven in six innings to lead Oaks Christian (11-2) to a 14-1, six-inning win over Clovis West in a nonleague game.

  • Kadyn Sánchez was 2 for 3 with three RBIs at the plate and struck out nine in five shutout innings in the circle and Sophia Romero went 2 for 3 with an RBI and three stolen bases to lead Santa Clara (4-5, 2-2) to a 13-0, five-inning win over Foothill Tech in a Tri-Valley League game.

BOYS VOLLEYBALL

  • Westlake outlasted Newbury Park in five sets, 25-21, 22-25, 25-21, 20-25, 15-11, to hand the Panthers their first Marmonte League loss. Nolan Higa had 21 kills and 24 assists, Houston Hull had 14 kills, Caleb Eschenberg finished with 11 kills and five aces, and Ryker Daniels had 29 assists for Newbury Park, which dropped to 5-1 in league.

  • Thousand Oaks defeated Agoura 27-25, 24-26, 25-21, 25-22 in a Marmonte League match. For the Chargers, Jack Smolarski finished with 15 kills, three aces and three blocks, Josh Supa had nine kills and nine digs, Jack Blem-Keck had 19 assists, Dash Cowley had 18 assists, 10 digs and six kills, and Brady Prince five aces.

BOYS LACROSSE

  • Grey Stevens and Tyler Kang each scored three goals and Jayden Mehta had a goal as Oak Park improved to 2-0 in Coastal Canyon League play with a 7-6 win over Simi Valley.

  • Agoura defeated Oaks Christian 10-6 in a Marmonte League game.

GIRLS LACROSSE

  • Sophia Campbell made 15 saves, Reagan Laubner had seven goals and two assists, Micah Shin had six goals and an assist, Elliana Dorsi had two goals and an assist, and Maya Pantoja, Angela Gambina and Nicole Pirie had goals as Newbury Park improved to 6-0 with an 18-9 win over Oaks Christian in a Marmonte League game.
