In the girls meet, Freedom won the 100 hurdles (Lydia Merrick, :16.63), the 300 hurdles (Lydia Merrick, :47.98) and the pole vault (Lauren Jochman, 9-6).

Notre Dame won the 100 (Danika Apple, :12.68), the 400 relay (:51.71) and the discus (Jaqueline Zacharias, 129-10).

Winneconne won the 200 (Joey Perry, :26.21), the 400 (Joey Perry, :58.88), the 800 (Sophie Yetter, 2:16.33), the 1,600 (Sophie Yetter, 5:07.58) and the shot put (Emily Schell, 34-11).

Coleman won the high jump (Vivian Kostreva, 5-6) and the long jump (Corrin Liptak, 16-0).

Howards Grove’s Eden Maranell won the triple jump (34-9).

St. Mary’s Springs won the 800 relay (1:50.24) and the 1,600 relay (4:11.61).

Shawano won the 3,200 (Lillian Guenther, 11:48.02) and the 3,200 relay (9:46.79).

In the boys meet, Freedom had first-place finishes in the 200 (Gavin Greiner, :23.09), the 400 (Gavin Greiner, :50.91), the pole vault (Jack Steinbarth, 12-6), the long jump (Noah Heinke, 19-7.25) and the triple jump (Noah Heinke, 41-5.25).

Notre Dame had first-place finishes from Isaac Nowak (800, 1:59.17; 1,600, 4:24.48) and James Flanigan (discus, 176-0).

Shawano got a first-place finish from Will Chelberg (3,200, 10:06.93).

Brillion’s William VanderZanden won the high jump (6-0).

Xavier’s Ben Olvey won the 110 hurdles (:15.05).

Winneconne’s Ayden Hart took the 300 hurdles (:40.72). Winneconne won the 800 relay (1:32.09), the 1,600 relay (3:25.84) and the 3,200 relay (8:15.17).

St. Mary’s Springs’ Nolan Baudry won the shot put (50-10.25).

Howards Grove won the 400 relay (:44.94).

In the girls meet, D.C. Everest won the team title with first-place finishes in the 100-meter dash (Ellia Roble, :12.70), the 800 (Sara Mlodik, 2:14.96) and the.1,600 (Sara Mlodik, 5:22.07).

Bay Port took first in the 200 (Isabelle Denny, :25.75), the 100 (Jillian Anderson, :14.86), the 300 hurdles (Kyla Hendricks, :45.88), the 400 relay (:49.50) and the triple jump (Madeline Thoreson, 36-5.5).

De Pere took first in the 400 (Aubrey Kopling, 1:02.28), the 3,200 relay (10:04.64), the high jump (Claire Roup, 4-10) and the pole vault (Megan Dorsey, 11-0).

Kaukauna won the 3,200 (Reese Fauske, 11:28.72) and the 800 relay (1:47.45).

Oshkosh West took first in the long jump (Emily Blaskowski, 16-9.25).

Two Rivers finished first in the 800 (Mikaela Helling, 2:23.60), the 1,600 (Mikaela Helling, 4:55.65), the 300 hurdles (Allyson Kakes, :48.35) and the shot put (Alexa Zimney, 35-8.5).

Brailyn St. Louis of Oconto Falls won the high jump (5-2) and the 100 hurdles (:17.11). Oconto Falls won the 3,200 relay (10:50.76).

Kewaunee’s Hannah Miller won the triple jump (35-5).

Wrightstown took first in the discus (Naomi Huebner, 115-0). Danielle Bruecker tied for first in the high jump (5-2).

Elizabeth Blauert of Manitowoc Lutheran won the long jump (15-9).

Shiocton’s Cade Stingle won the 200 (:22.90), the 110 hurdles (:15.24) and the 300 hurdles (:39.30).

In the girls meet, Omro won the 1,600 relay (4:25.16).

Shiocton’s Kendal Stingle won the 300 hurdles (:47.63).

BASEBALL

Hortonville 10, Kaukauna 9

HORTONVILLE - The Polar Bears outlasted the Ghosts in a wild final two innings of their Fox Valley Association matchup.

Kaukauna scored a run in the first and the game remained that way until the sixth. The Ghosts pushed across another run in the top of the sixth, before the Polar Bears answered with four runs in the bottom half. Kaukauna then scored seven times in the seventh, only to see Hortonville answer with six runs of its own to claim the victory.

Nathan Grams had the hot bat for Hortonville, going 3-for-4 with an RBI, while Nathan Vela added a double and four RBIs.

Jake Lucas was 3-for-3 with two doubles and four RBIs for the Ghosts. Pierson VandeHey and Sawyer Steineke both added two hits with Steineke adding two RBIs for Kaukauna.

Kimberly 6, Appleton East 1

KIMBERLY - Sawyer Deering was 2-for-3 with two run scored and Evan Olson was 2-for-4 with an RBI as the Papermakers cruised past the Patriots in Fox Valley Association action.

Ryan Csida scored two runs, stole two bases and drove in a run for the Papermakers.

Brennan Grams picked up the win, pitching 6⅔ innings, allowing six hits and one earned run, while striking out 11.

Cade Prestigiacomo paced the Appleton East offense, going 2-for-3 with two doubles.

Appleton North 5, Oshkosh North 0

APPLETON - Ryan Tesch drove in two runs and pitched 4⅔ innings to get the win as the Lightning blanked the Spartans.

Ben Isom was 2-for-3 with two RBIs, and Isaac Schultz scored two runs for Appleton North.

Oshkosh West 3, Neenah 2

OSHKOSH - Alec Berndt beat out an infield single with two outs in the bottom of the 10th inning to score Erik Grey with the winning run for the Wildcats.

Grey got on base with a double and advanced to third on a grounder.

Erik Grey’s RBI single in the third inning gave West a 1-0 lead.

After the Rockets took a 2-1 lead in the top of the eighth on a sacrifice fly, Jaxon Prill led off the bottom of the inning with a double, then Grey drew a walk. With two outs, Grey scored the tying run on a hit to left field by Eddy Schroeder.

Stevens Point 7-2, La Crosse Central 3-1

STEVENS POINT - Jaxon Stetler and Braylen Nystrom both earned wins on the mound to lead the Panthers to the nonconference doubleheader sweep.

Stetler won the opener, allowing just four hits, two runs - both earned - with five walks and two strikeouts in 4⅓ innings. Deacon Koback was 2-for-3 with a double and four RBIs at the plate.

In the nightcap, Nystrom went five innings, allowing three hits and three walks with four strikeouts. Kale Roth and Ben Fonti were both 2-for-3 at the plate.

Stevens Point is now 11-1 on the season.

Laconia 15, Ripon 4

ROSENDALE - The Spartans scored 11 runs in the bottom of the fourth inning to beat the Tigers in a nonconference matchup.

Connor Shaver pitched all five innings for the win for Laconia.

Jacob Riddick and Adam Sina hit solo home runs for Ripon.

Chilton 12, New Holstein 0

CHILTON - Max Mueller hit a home run and drove in four runs for the Tigers in the five-inning win over the Huskies.

Zac Halbach had three hits and two RBIs. Mueller, Slatt Nolan and Kenyon Davidson each had two hits. Ryan Pierquet had three RBIs and Halbach drove in two runs.

Austin Grube was the winning pitcher. He pitched four innings, allowed three hits and struck out four.

Random Lake 3, St. Mary Catholic 0

FOX CROSSING - Matt Merlo shut down the Zephyrs on three hits, striking out nine as the Rams earned the Big East Conference win.

Merlo also was solid at the plate, going 2-for-4 with an RBI.

Fisher Mackenzie took the loss for St. Mary Catholic, pitching five innings, allowing two runs - both earned - with two walks and eight strikeouts.

Abbotsford/Colby 13, Chequamegon 9

PARK FALLS - Evan Reis was 2-for-3 with a homer and five RBIs and Brandon Diedrich was 2-for-3 with three RBIs as the Falcons rallied from a three-run deficit in the sixth to outslug the Eagles in Marawood Conference-North action.

Abby/Colby scored twice in the third, three in the fourth, one in the fifth, three in the sixth and four in the seventh to earn the win.

J.V. Castillo also helped pace the Falcons’ offense, going 3-for-4, while Payton Schreiber was 2-for-2.

Niagara 3, Crivitz 1

NIAGARA - A three-run third inning propeled the Badgers past the Wolverines in Marinette & Oconto Conference action.

Ross Shampo was 2-for-3 with an RBI, while Christian Hedmark doubled and had two RBIs for Niagara.

Logan Marvin had the hot bat for Crivitz, going 3-for-4 with an RBI. Sean Christiansen and Brady Tadisch each added two hits.

Blake Holmes pitched five innings to get the win. He allowed five hits, one run and struck out five.

Christiansen took the loss, but allowed only two earned runs and struck out eight in six innings.

Wausaukee 9, Lena 7

WAUSAUKEE - The Rangers rallied from five runs down to earn the Marinette & Oconto Conference win.

Nathan Shaw was 2-for-3 with four RBIs, while Connor Schroeder and Layne Rowley were 2-for-3 with one RBI each.

Lena was led by Bryce Kittredge, who was 3-for-4 with two runs scored. Logan Graef was 2-for-3 with an RBI, and Josh Kristof had a double and three RBIs.

Pittsville 17, Wild Rose 0

WILD ROSE - Leading 5-0, the Panthers iced the Central Wisconsin Conference win with a 12-run fifth inning.

Evan Haley picked up the win, allowing just three hits and two walks, while striking out 11.

Haley also led Pittsville at the plate, going 2-for-4 with a double and three RBIs. Waylon Grimm, Logan Zickert and Easton Dammann all had two hits and two RBIs.

Kimberly 5-13, Fond du Lac 2-3 (Thursday)

KIMBERLY - The Papermakers swept the Cardinals, winning 5-2 and 13-3 in a Fox Valley Association doubleheader at Sunset Park.

Alex Vander Loop was the winning pitcher in the first game and Hunter Berry got the save.

Max Kalk hit a home run and two RBIs for Kimberly.

In the second game, Kimberly pounded 14 hits.

Evan Olson was 4-for-4 with a double and four RBIs, Kale Twombly was 3-for-4 with three RBIs, Ryan Csida had two hits and two RBIs, and Brady Koester also had two hits.

Koester was also the winning pitcher.

SOFTBALL

Oshkosh West 15, Appleton West 0

OSHKOSH - Braelee Jodarski got the win in the circle, giving up one hit and striking out 10 in the win over the Terrors.

Chloe Tritt was 4-for-4 with three doubles for West.

Menasha 7-6, Stevens Point 5-5

MENASHA - The Bluejays used a seven-run fourth in Game 1, with five of those runs scoring with two outs, and then rallied late in Game 2 to earn the nonconference sweep.

In the opener, Gabrielle Farr and Eve Rausch had two hits each to pace Menasha.

SPASH was led by Kaitlyn Klismith, Mikah Keller, Addie Simonson and Morgan Groshek with two hits each.

In the nightcap, Stevens Point had grabbed a 4-3 lead after two, before Addie Lund answered with a two-run home run in the third. The Panthers tied it at 5-5 in the bottom half of the inning, before Farr put the Bluejays ahead to stay with a run-scoring single in the sixth.

Taylor Papendorf had two hits for the Bluejays.

SPASH was paced by Riley Pechinski, Klismith, Delilah Abundiz and Brayley Lake with two hits each.

West De Pere 18, Appleton North 8

DE PERE - The Phantoms banged out 16 hits and took advantage of six walks and two errors as they 10-runned the Lightning after six innings in nonconference action.

Nevaeh Wagendorf helped lead the West De Pere attack, going 3-for-4 with two doubles, a home run and five RBIs. Karleigh Linssen was 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI.

Other top Phantoms hitters included Leah Kocken, who was 2-for-2 with a double and five RBIs, Noelle Runke, who was 3-for-4 with a homer, three RBIs and four runs scored, and Morgan Hansel, who was 2-for-3 with a homer.

Appleton North was led by Alyssa Wald, who was 3-for-4 with a double. Payton Willenkamp was 2-for-4 with a double, and Raegen Schwarz and Tatum Beggs both had two hits and three RBIs.

Luxemburg-Casco 17-15, Fox Valley Lutheran 6-0

APPLETON - The Spartans moved to 15-1 on the year with the doubleheader sweep.

In Game 1, Luxemburg-Casco banged out 15 hits.

Kylie Hanson led the offense, going 3-for-4 with a home run and four RBIs. Jillian Jorgensen was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs, Grace Kahr was 2-for-3 with an RBI, and Payton Kaminski and Anna Vandermause both went 2-for-3.

In the nightcap, the Spartans needed just three innings to earn the win.

Green Bay Notre Dame 10, Plymouth 5

GREEN BAY - The Tritons scored eight runs in the bottom half of the sixth inning to wipe out a three-run deficit and beat the Panthers.

Addyson Simpson, Ella Gelb and Ava Massey each had two hits for Notre Dame. Gelb and Massey each had two RBIs. Kaia Waldrop had two RBIs, scored twice and had a triple.

Shea McMullen, Aubrey Fischer and Jade Henkel each had two hits for Plymouth.

Simpson got the win for Notre Dame, pitching 2⅔ innings of relief.

Ashlei Williams took the loss for Plymouth.

North Fond du Lac 4, St. Mary’s Springs 1

FOND DU LAC - The Orioles scored twice in the third inning and two in the seventh to defeat the Ledgers.

St. Mary’s Springs got its lone run in the fifth inning.

Lauren Stettbacher had three hits, including a triple, for North Fond du Lac. Lucy Schumacher had a two-run double in the third inning and also had a triple. Leah Patterson had two singles.

St. Mary’s Springs was led by Gracie Konkol with two hits.

Patterson got the win for North Fond du Lac. She allowed four hits and one earned run.

Ella Guelig took the loss for St. Mary’s Springs.

Random Lake 4, St. Mary Catholic 3

FOX CROSSING - Jayla Harter singled in the go-ahead run in the seventh inning to propel the Rams past the Zephyrs in Big East Conference play.

Random Lake had taken a 2-0 lead in the first and led 3-1 after two.

Nevaeh Saringer tied the game in the fourth with a two-run homer for St. Mary Catholic.

The Rams were led by Harter, who was 3-for-4, while Abby Borchardt and Madelyn Abner added two hits each, and Alivia Stefanich a home run.

Chloe Vogel was 2-for-3 with a triple and two runs scored and Adel Schneider was 2-for-4 to help lead the Zephyrs.

Crivitz 24, Niagara 7

NIAGARA - The Wolverines scored in every inning to post the Marinette & Oconto Conference win.

Crivitz scored once in the first, four in the second, 10 in the third and nine in the fourth to put an early end to the game.

Crivitz was led by Lilli Watson, who was 2-for-2 with a double and five RBIs. Hattie Frievalt was 3-for-4 with three RBIs, Taryn Tracy and Madelyn Welty had two hits and three RBIs each, and Isabella Logan was 2-for-4 with one RBI.

APPLETON - Addie Wreath scored a goal off an assist from Lauren Mesa to give the Patriots the nonconference win.

Mosinee 3, Medford 1

MEDFORD - Kaitlyn Selle scored two goals and Gabby Munoz added one to lead Mosinee past Medford in Great Northern Conference action.

Morgan Hoernke made nine saves in net for Mosinee.

Luxemburg-Casco 2, Ashwaubenon 0

LUXEMBURG - The Spartans got goals from Haley Paye and Emi Kuhn in the win over the Jaguars.

Tabi Lemens had 15 saves for Luxemburg-Casco.
