Frankfort breaks tie in seventh to beat West Seneca East

Apr. 5—MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Frankfort broke a 3-3 tie with two runs in the seventh inning as the Falcons rallied to win 5-3 over West Seneca East on Thursday at the South Atlantic Bank Invitational in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

The Falcons (4-2) took a 3-0 lead in the top of the first.

Kaleb Atkinson scored on a passed ball followed by an RBI ground out by Blake Jacobs.

Jaxon Hare drove in a run on an RBI single to center.

West Seneca East answered and tied the game the following half-inning.

Two Frankfort errors led to three runs being scored.

Tied at 3 in the top of the seventh, Cam Lynch singled to left and took second on the throw.

He drove in Lanson Orndorf to give the Falcons a 4-3 lead.

Jacob Nething and Hare drew walks to load the bases.

Peyton Durst's walk added another run.

Orndorf struck out the side in order to end the game.

He went the distance, allowing two hits and a walk with 11 strikeouts.

All three of his runs were unearned.

Five Falcons recorded a hit and Lynch drove in two runs and stole two bases.

Frankfort concludes its stay in Myrtle Beach with Central Davidson on Friday at 12:30 p.m.
