Four goals (including an OT winner): Vote for the H.S. Boys Hockey Player of the Week
BC High's Drew Karlovits has been voted the High School Boys Hockey Player of the Week.
The freshman received over 10,000 votes to earn the honor. Karlovits recorded a shutout in a 1-0 win over Arlington Catholic.
And this week's candidates are...
Sam Steinman, Jr., Middleboro: Steinman scored four goals and added an assist in a 6-2 win over Nashoba Tech in a Div. 3 preliminary-round game.

James Sullivan, Sr., Scituate: Sullivan scored an overtime goal as Scituate defeated Melrose, 2-1, in a Div. 3 Round of 32 battle. That goal also made him the program's all-time leading scorer. He scored two goals in a 6-1 win over Watertown in the Sweet 16.
Grady Salfity, Sr., Weymouth: Salfity (28 saves) recorded a shutout in goal as the No. 28 Wildcats stunned No. 5 Archbishop Williams, 2-0, in a Div. 1 Round of 32 game.
Quinn Simmons, Sr., Norwell: Simmons scored two goals in a 3-1 win over Groton-Dunstable in a Div. 4 Round of 32 battle.
Teddy Devoe + Kevin Murphy + Tommy Carroll, Marshfield: Devoe scored twice and Murphy posted a shutout in the Rams' 4-0 win over Needham in a Div. 1 Round of 32 battle. Carroll netted a winner in double overtime in a 2-1 victory over Reading in the Div. 1 Sweet 16.
Brendan Tourgee + Ryan Elrick, Canton: Both Bulldogs scored twice in a 6-1 win over North Attleboro in a Div. 2 Round of 32 game.
Mike Hussey + Brady Walsh + Chris Gillis, Duxbury: Hussey had a goal and three assists as Duxbury defeated Oliver Ames, 6-2, in a Div. 2 Round of 32 battle. Gillis had two goals and an assist in that one. Walsh had a hat trick in a 5-1 win over Malden Catholic in the Div. 2 Sweet 16.
Kyle Ready, Jr., Pembroke: Ready posted a shutout in a 3-0 win over Taunton in the Div. 3 Round of 32 and followed it up with another shutout in a 2-0 win over Grafton in the Sweet 16.
Andrew Gaffney, Jr., Braintree: Gaffney scored a double-overtime winner in No. 24 Braintree's 3-2 upset over No. 9 Westford Academy in a Div. 1 Round of 32 game.
Luke Tropeano, Sr., Whitman-Hanson: Tropeano, who had four goals, netted a double-overtime winner in a victory over Algonquin in the Div. 2 Round of 32.
Shane Desmond, Jr., + James Erickson, Sr., Watertown/Wayland: They each notched a hat trick in a 7-4 win over No. 15 host St. Paul on Wednesday in a Division 3 first-round game in Worcester. The Warriors fell to Scituate in the next round.
Colin Glynn, Sr., Marlborough: Glynn assisted on the lone goal as the No. 17 Panthers (10-9-3) fell to No. 1 host Nauset, 2-1, in the Division 1 second round in Orleans. On Thursday, Glynn distributed four assists with a goal, contributing to all five goals for the Panthers in a 5-1 win over No. 16 Bedford in the first round.
Andrew Goldstein, Sr., Dover-Sherborn/Weston: The captain Goldstein saved 14 shots in a 4-1 win for fifth-seeded D-S/Weston in a 4-1 win over Dedham in the Division 4 Sweet 16. He also saved 16 shots, including a breakaway, in a 6-1 win over No. 28 Boston Latin in the Round of 32. D-S/Weston (19-4) has since advanced to the Final Four, which will be Saturday vs. top-seeded Winthrop in Bourne.
Paddy Maxwell, Jr., Wellesley: Maxwell had an assist and the game-winning goal for the Raiders in a 3-2 win over No. 17 Belmont at Boston Sports Institute in the Division 1 Round of 32. Wellesley (15-5-2) finished its season with a loss to top-seeded St. John’s Prep on Saturday.
Dylan McEvoy, Sr., Franklin: McEvoy notched a hat trick for the No. 12 Panthers (15-8) in a 7-3 win over No. 28 Weymouth in the Division 1 Sweet 16. McEvoy also scored a goal in a 3-2 win over St. Mary’s (Lynn) in the Round of 32. The Panthers will face No. 4 Xaverian (17-4-1) in the quarterfinals at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Loring Arena.
Shane Moriarty, Jr., Ashland: The goalie was a brick wall, backstopping the 24th-seeded Clockers in a 3-0 shutout of rival and No. 9 Medway in the Division 4 Round of 32. Moriarty then led Ashland to a 6-3 upset of No. 8 host Martha’s Vineyard in the Sweet 16. The Clockers fell to top-seeded Winthrop on Wednesday, ending their Cinderella run.
Tim O’Malley, Fr., Hudson: O’Malley had two goals, including the overtime winner, in a 3-2 victory over Seekonk in the Division 4 state tournament first round Wednesday. After a loss to top-seeded Winthrop on Saturday, the Hawks finished their season at 13-9.
