Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton, ex-NFL QB Sage Rosenfels express support for Roe v. Wade
After a leaked draft opinion from the Supreme Court was published Monday, the nation has spiraled into a frenzy, raising questions concerning abortion.
Among the concerned is a small group of male athletes who are publicly standing up for women's reproductive rights.
The court draft considers a decision that would overturn the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision that established a constitutional right to abortion.
In a series of tweets Thursday, former NFL quarterback Sage Rosenfels shared his thoughts on the matter.
"So.. A thrice married con artist became President (Donald Trump) and chose 3 justices that all said Roe V Wade was settled law for 50 years," Rosenfels wrote. "Then they changed their minds and plan to take away a right that will have huge negative consequences on women, with half being below the poverty line."

The Twitter thread continued, challenging who the possible overturned decision would affect:
"70% of Americas are pro-choice in some form or fashion," wrote Rosenfels. "This means 30% of the country, with half of those being mostly older white men, are deciding what mostly poor minority women will do with their bodies. Sounds about right."

British Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton took to Instagram to express his thoughts.
"I love being in the States, but I can't ignore what's going on right now and what some in the government are trying to do to women who live here," Hamilton posted on his Instagram story Thursday. "Everyone should have the right to choose what they do with theirs bodies. We can't let that choice be taken away."
Hamilton continued his post with sharing names of organizations and recourses that "support in the fight to keep these rights intact."
