Former Vols in the NBA: Nov. 18 recap

One former University of Tennessee basketball player competed in the NBA Thursday.

Three others were inactive.

In Denver, Philadelphia defeated the Nuggets, 103-89, at Ball Arena.

Tobias Harris started at forward for the 76ers and played 31 minutes. He had 17 points, seven rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block.

Harris was 8-for-18 from the field, 1-for-3 from beyond the 3-point arc and 0-for-2 from the free throw line.

Harris’ teammate, rookie Jaden Springer, was inactive against the Nuggets.

In Memphis, the Grizzlies outlasted the Los Angeles Clippers, 120-108.

Rookie Yves Pons was inactive for the Grizzlies and first-year player Keon Johnson was inactive for Los Angeles.
