Former Sixers wing Trevelin Queen signs two-way deal with Pacers

With the regular season approaching, the Philadelphia 76ers had to make some tough decisions when it came to the roster. They have to make some moves in order to get the roster down to the NBA limit of 15 and they made that first move on Sunday.

The Sixers waived Trevelin Queen after bringing in the 2022 G League MVP on a deal early in free agency. Queen was only able to play in one preseason game after suffering a head injury and entering the concussion protocol. He did not play in their next preseason game and the Sixers decided to move on from him.

On Tuesday, Queen landed on his feet rather quickly as he will sign a two-way deal with the Indiana Pacers. Considering Indiana is in a rebuild, this gives Queen an opportunity to play and show what he can do out on the floor.

As for the Sixers, they will finish up the preseason schedule on Wednesday when they take on the Charlotte Hornets at home.
