Former NFL GM compares Bryce Young to Steph Curry

Former Alabama quarterback Bryce Young is expected to be the first quarterback selected in the 2023 NFL draft and there’s a strong possibility that he is the first overall pick, as well.

Former New York Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum joined ESPN’s Get Up to discuss Young and the type of quarterback he can become in the NFL.

Tannenbaum mentions that though there are size concerns regarding Young, he will be a “great passer” in the NFL and that he will likely be a better quarterback than former Oregon standout and current starter for the Los Angeles Chargers, Justin Herbert.

He also quotes ESPN draft analyst Todd McShay in saying Young “has Steph Curry in him.”

Roll Tide Wire will continue to follow Young and other former Alabama players preparing for the 2023 NFL draft.
