Former Georgia Bulldogs Jordan Davis and Nakobe Dean headed to Super Bowl

Just a year after bringing Georgia its first national title in 42 years, former Bulldogs Jordan Davis and Nakobe Dean are headed to their first Super Bowl with the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Eagles took down the San Francisco 49ers, 31-7, on Sunday to secure a spot in Super Bowl LVII.

Davis, who was drafted with the No. 13 pick in last year’s draft, was impressive in his first NFL season, garnering NFL All-Rookie team honors.

Dean was drafted No. 83 overall and plays in a reserve role for the Eagles’ stout defense.

Championships are rare, but for Davis and Dean it’s becoming a trend.

The Eagles will play the winner of the AFC Championship game between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Super Bowl LVII will kickoff at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 12 and will air on CBS.
