Former Alabama forward inks deal with Amicale Steinsel of the Total League in Europe

Former Alabama power forward Alex Reese signed a one-year deal with Amicale Steinsel of the Total League. Reese’s new team plays their games in Steinsel, Luxembourg. The last time Reese was on a roster was his senior year in Tuscaloosa in the 2020-2021 season.

The native of Pelham, Alabama signed with the Crimson Tide as a member of the 2017 recruiting class. He would go on to spend four seasons in Tuscaloosa. Throughout his college career, he averaged 6.1 points per game and 3.3 rebounds per game. Reese made 36 starts for the Tide and played a key role in his senior season.

Most Alabama fans will remember Reese sinking a half-court shot in the NCAA Tournament to take UCLA into overtime.

Now, Reese will begin his first professional stint overseas. It will be interesting to see how he performs at the professional level.
