4-star athlete and Florida State football commit Micahi Danzy is a national champion.

Ranked as one of the fastest under-18 sprinters in the world, Danzy had a big-time performance at the USATF National Junior Olympic Championship this past weekend. The Florida High senior won the 400-dash national title with a time of 46.90 and was national runner-up in the 200 dash with a time of 21.27.

He also finished 14th in long jump with a distance of 6.59 meters.

Danzy committed to FSU on July 15 over Florida, Miami, Georgia and others. He is the lone running back recruit in the Seminoles Class of 2024 so far.

Last season with the Seminoles he accounted for 1,809 yards and 17 touchdowns, helping his team to a 14-1 record and a state runner-up finish.
