First look behind Manchester City's title-winning season as Amazon reveals release date for 'All or Nothing' series

Amazon Prime Video has released the trailer for its documentary series on Manchester City's historic title-winning season, with its release date confirmed as Friday 17 August.

Across eight episodes, All or Nothing: Manchester City will take viewers on a journey throughout the entirety of the side's 2017/18 season, from the world-leading training facilities at the City Football Academy, to interviews with the manager, boardroom meetings and the week-on-week stories that unfold within the lives of the players.

The new series, which will be narrated by Sir Ben Kingsley, delves behind the scenes and, if the trailer is anything to go by, promises to offer a rare insight into the workings of Pep Guardiola's mind.

In one teasing clip, the City boss tells his players that they perform to a higher level when they are angry with him - and thus urges them to hate him.

"Some of you play better when you're angry with me so if you hate me, hate me guys! No problem at all," he says.

The trailer also includes footage from City's defeat by League One side Wigan in the FA Cup fifth round.

Midfielder Fabian Delph can be seen storming into the away dressing room at the DW Stadium while his teammates look on in a state of shock after the defeat.

Following in the footsteps of the likes of the Arizona Cardinals, Los Angeles Rams and the New Zealand All Blacks - all of whom have starred in Amazon's All or Nothing series - Manchester City agreed to the documentary deal with the media giants last November.

All eight episodes of the Prime Original docu-series will be released for fans to enjoy on Friday 17 August.
