The results are in.

Christ's Church Academy's Sydney Kambach is the Florida Times-Union's latest First Florida Credit Union Athlete of the Week for the 2023-24 high school sports season, covering the week of Oct. 23-28 in the Jacksonville area.

The senior setter recorded 71 assists and 12 aces as the Eagles defeated Gainesville St. Francis and Harvest Community. She surpassed 2,000 assists for her volleyball career.

She placed first in a vote of top Northeast Florida performers that included Eli Anckner (Menendez boys bowling), Jermel Brown (Orange Park football), Karlee Gainey (Columbia girls golf), Kenyon Gardner (Paxon football), Anna Gavin (Creekside girls swimming), Sascha Macht (Bolles boys swimming), Tyler Mawhinney (Fleming Island boys golf) and Stephanie Selman (Fort White football).

This week's vote

It's time to vote for Florida Times-Union's next First Florida Credit Union Athlete of the Week for the week of Oct. 30-Nov. 4, 2023.

The Times-Union gathers nominees from scores, stats and nominations e-mailed to the sports desk during the week by coaches across Northeast Florida. Coaches can e-mail these stats and scores to preps@jacksonville.com.

This week's voting begins Monday morning and closes at 10 a.m. Thursday. Votes are restricted to once per device per hour.

Here are the nominees from Oct. 30-Nov. 4:

Avery Haney, Trinity Christian volleyball

The senior outside hitter delivered 17 kills with a .560 hitting percentage as the Conquerors defeated Florida High in the Region 1-3A final.

Anthony Henry, Riverside football

The junior defensive back intercepted two passes and broke up a third in the Generals' 34-23 victory against Ribault.

Bryson Hughes, Creekside boys golf

The junior won medalist honors with a 69 in the Region 1-3A championship at St. Johns Golf Club, leading the Knights to their first-ever state tournament.

Julia Murphy, Bolles girls swimming

The senior swam 53.96 to win the girls 100-yard butterfly, and helped Bolles to two relay championships and a second-place relay finish on the way to a 33rd consecutive state title.

Graham Myers, Fleming Island boys cross country

The senior ran 15:51 in the District 2-3A meet at Ponte Vedra to lead the Golden Eagles to the team district championship.

Ralienne Nacional, Beachside girls golf

The Barracudas' senior led the team to the Region 1-2A championship, shooting a 72 at Quail Heights in Lake City.

Jazmine Santiago, Paxon girls bowling

The All-Gateway Conference bowler placed third in the FHSAA championship tournament in Orlando.

Cam Smith, Nease football

The senior running back rushed for 104 yards and five touchdowns in the Panthers' district-clinching 47-27 win against Tocoi Creek.

Lindy White, Ponte Vedra girls cross country

The senior led a Sharks 1-2-3 finish, running 18:24 to win the District 2-3A team championship.

Carter Wright, Bishop Kenny boys swimming

The sophomore won the 100-yard backstroke, placed second in the 50 freestyle and won a relay to help the Crusaders clinch their third consecutive Class 2A team championship.
