Field, Garfield, Mogadore, Southeast baseball snag top-10 seeds in OHSAA tournament
The seeds for the upcoming Ohio High School Athletic Association baseball tournament were released Saturday, with Field and Garfield snagging five seeds and Mogadore and Southeast earning nine seeds.
The bracket release Sunday included some intriguing matchups, like former Portage Trail Conference rivals Crestwood and Mogadore meeting in the first round.
There's also the potential for a Roosevelt-Field sectional final, a match-up that was originally slated to occur at the David Starkey Memorial Tournament before a schedule change. That would be an enticing game featuring two of the county's top baseball programs year in and year out.
