Father-in-law of former NFL DT Domata Peko sold $2 billion Powerball ticket
The owner of a California gas station where the $2 billion Powerball ticket was purchased is the father-in-law of former Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle and fan favorite Domata Peko, according to multiple reports.
Joe Chahayed owns Joe's Service Center in Altadena, Calif. He is expected to receive about $1 million.
Peko posted on his Instagram story: "My Father In-Law Sold the winning PowerBall (ticket) 2 billion $. … Congrats Baba."
Peko played for the Bengals from 2006 to 2016. He also played for the Denver Broncos, Baltimore Ravens and Arizona Cardinals before retiring after the 2020 NFL season.

Joe Chahayed said they have sold some winning tickets before. Super Lotto, Fantasy 5. He recalled there was a ticket worth $8,000 to $9,000. He believes the winner is a local.
