How fast is De’Von Achane?

The Miami Dolphins’ most intriguing competition might be between two offensive teammates and not with the opponent.

The Dolphins lead the NFL in total offense on the backs of some of the fastest players in the league. A Dolphins player holds each of the top seven registered speeds this season.

What is De'Von Achane's 40 time?

Achane was a healthy scratch for the Dolphins’ season opener, then had only two touches in Week 2. In Week 3, Achane emerged as a threat, rushing 18 times for 203 yards and two touchdowns with four catches for 30 yards and two touchdowns.

He proved it wasn’t a fluke in Week 4, taking eight carries for 101 yards and two touchdowns.

Entering Sunday’s game against the New York Giants, Achane ranked sixth in the NFL in rushing yards (309) despite having only 27 rushes on the year. His average of 11.4 yards per carry ranks first among all running backs.

Achane went into halftime Sunday with 117 yards and a touchdown on only five carries against the Giants after breaking a 76-yard touchdown run.
