As we turn the calendar and enter the month of July the NFL season is growing ever closer. For fans of fantasy football that also means we are quickly closing in on draft time. For the final week of this series I have decided to take a look at a defensive player for those involved in IDP leagues and believe me, this Buffalo Bills’ starter is a definite selection.

A ten-year veteran of the NFL, Corey Graham is not only a starter for the Buffalo Bills but also one of the best secondary players for fantasy owners in the league today.

Corey Graham — 2015 Season: 139.0 points — 2016 Projection: 107.0

Coming off of a career year last season with the Buffalo Bills Corey Graham’s stock has definitely risen amongst fantasy owners and league insiders alike. Despite the fact that Graham is now 30-years old, the ten-year pro proved last season that he has what it takes to be one of the best secondary players in the NFL.

While Graham is projected to have a decline in points this season it is nothing to really worry about. After all, Graham recorded a career high in tackles last season while also recording two interceptions and a sack.

Rated as the 12th best secondary player by Fantasy Football Today, Graham definetly has a lot of upside that should be reason enough for you to take him in your upcoming draft. With one of the best secondaries in the NFL, quarterbacks are going to have to throw at Graham, giving him the opportunity to make a play and add to his point total.

Another stat that should impress some fantasy players is the reliability of Graham. Appearing in at least 16 games during all but his rookie season, Graham’s natural car comparison would be that of a Toyota or Honda. His motor never stops. These two areas that almost never get any recognition should definitely show that the risk of taking Graham is extremely low.

Depending on the size of your league and where you will be picking will ultimately when you should select this player. Once you have obtained a skill player for each of your offensive positions I would definitely advocate Graham’s selection. Very low risk and a potential for high reward, what else could you want in a fantasy player.
