Everyone has Vegas stories. We all make regrettable choices from time to time. Last weekend, Dalton Del Don spent three days in Vegas and returned home with a tattoo of a stegosaurus on his chest and a $3 Joe Williams as his RB1. It happens.

(No, that’s actually not true about the tattoo. But the Williams thing is legit.)

The Yahoo and RotoWire fantasy crews recently met up in Vegas for Mark Stopa‘s annual auction, which is, of course, always a blast. It was the first meaningful draft or auction of the 2017 season for many of us, and thus the first chance to assign values to players. It’s a 14-team superflex league in which we start two tight ends, so the player pool is deep. Full results can be found right here.

On this week’s pod, Dalton and I discuss our pre-auction strategies as well as best buys and purchases of regret. We talk Big Ben, Marcus Mariota, David Njoku, Patriots receivers, the questionable QB choices made by Brad Evans, and more.

Give it a listen, listener.
