Fantasy Football: ESPN ranks 3 Giants among top-10 at their position

The New York Giants enter 2023 hoping to build off of their success last season and improving their offense will go a long way toward reaching that goal.

That has been an emphasis for general manager Joe Schoen this offseason and early projections appear positive.

On Monday, ESPN’s Mike Clay revealed his 2023 fantasy football rankings and three Giants claimed spots in the top 10 at their respective positions.

Daniel Jones is the ninth-ranked quarterback on the list following his lucrative deal which was signed earlier in the offseason. His production as a runner certainly enhances his value in fantasy. With the addition of Darren Waller, who also made the top 10, and a revamped wide receiver room, expectations are understandably high.

Saquon Barkley was the third-ranked running back behind Austin Eckler and Christian McCaffrey. After his comeback campaign in 2022, Barkley is likely to be a first-round pick in most (if not all) fantasy drafts.

The newly-acquired Waller, Clay’s fourth-ranked tight end, has had his last two seasons hindered by injury. It will be interesting to see how he fits in the offense complimented by Barkley and wide receiver Isaiah Hodgins.

With the addition of Waller and high expectations for Barkley and Jones, the Giants will have a bigger presence in fantasy football than they have had in recent memory.
