HANNAH KEYSER: First of all, I appreciate and commend Rob Manfred for getting out ahead of this. What he did essentially was protect baseball and protect the players from having to answer questions about this from now until the All-Star game. And from like a strictly baseball perspective, that was a savvy move.

Objectively, no one-- everyone was going to come to a consensus. Manfred willing to take the heat for making a unilateral move, and for that I commend him. Now, let's talk about the voter suppression. While I do think that there is a certain value in just sort of being like, some things that happen in the country, regardless of whether they directly affect baseball, are worth stopping and saying. I need everyone to look at that, and that's what baseball did.
