The high-action set captured four ties by the first media timeout, where the Tigers held a 15-12 advantage. Florida A&M regained its lead with the help of another 6-2 rally, but the 18-17 edge was short-lived as JSU responded with four straight points.

Set Two

Set Three

Jackson State held a slight 4-3 advantage and remained in front from there. A Brooke Lynn Watts kill evened things at 17 but preceded a 5-0 stretch from JSU.
