All about Sydney: F1, 'Gilmour Girls' and winning state

Tell us something about you that most people don't know.

I enjoy watching F1 with my family.

What do you believe is the world's greatest invention?

The car or any type of transportation because it is the only way to get to the places we want to be.

What is your favorite TV show?

The "Gilmore Girls" because it's my comfort show.

If you could see anyone in concert, who would it be?

Pitbull.

Do you have plans for after you graduate?

I'm not sure where I want to go to school yet, but I plan on playing collegiate volleyball, and I want to be an interior designer.

About Dripping Springs volleyball: It's all about tradition

Tell us something about the first time you played competitive volleyball.

The first time I played competitive volleyball was in Austin, and I was 8 years old. I was the youngest on the team and excited to be there but remember being nervous, too.

What do you remember most about your freshman year?

Of course, winning state was my favorite memory last season, but experiencing coach (Michael) Kane's playoff traditions before and after the games was another one of my favorite memories along with the team culture.

Do you have any pre-match rituals?

Before games as a team, we do numbers to get us focused for the game. Then we listen to a speech, and then we listen to music to get hype.

Why do you think Dripping Springs is good at volleyball every year?

I think because we are very close as a team, on and off the court, and the culture that the coaches have built in the program over the years.

Dream dinner: Two jocks, two performers

If you could have dinner with four people in the history of the world, who would they be?

I would select Kevin Hart, (Formula One driver) Max Verstappen, Zendaya and Michael Jordan.

Why Kevin Hart?

Because he would be funny.
