Watching the video interviews over at Titansonline.com, it’s wonderful to hear the optimism in the Titans players voices after the first day of OTAs. They are excited.

Perrish Cox only played one game with Jason McCourty last season, but was happy to have him back. “To have him in the room with us, he’s our vocal leader, somebody I look up to. Ya know as long as we’re together, I think we’ll be good….to have him back in the room with us, I think, is everything.”

When asked about the offensive additions Cox said, “Man it’s exciting. It’s exciting! When I look at all the moves they made…it’s exciting. It makes us work harder to push and be the best, because we got heat on the other side. When you got something like that, it makes you pickup the work ethic.”

After Jurrell Casey pointed out the OTAs were smoother and faster than in previous years, he said, “with the talent we have, we should be able to make the playoffs, for sure.”

“Everyone’s excited about the changes they’ve done. I’m excited,” Avery Williamson said. “Definitely a different feel” from year one and year two. Avery called McCourty’s injury a huge loss last year and that he was glad to have him back.
