Ex-Sixers big man Al Horford, Celtics bounce back vs. Warriors in Game 3

With the Philadelphia 76ers out of the playoffs, now is the time to take a look at how some former Sixers are doing in the playoffs. There are a few of them still alive in the NBA Finals with the biggest name being Al Horford.

Horford spent one tough season in the 2019-20 season with the Sixers, but he is now back with the Boston Celtics and he is looking like his former self. In Game 3 of the finals on Wednesday, the veteran big man out of Florida had 11 points, eight rebounds, and six assists as Boston knocked off the Golden State Warriors 116-100 and take a 2-1 lead in these finals.

This was a big bounce-back game for Horford and the Celtics after a tough Game 2. Horford only had two points in the previous game and Boston only put up 88 points as a whole.

Another former Sixer on the Golden State side, Andre Iguodala, only played 2:09 in this one. He missed Game 2 as he is still working his way back from a neck injury he suffered in Round 1 of these playoffs.

Game 4 of this series will be on Friday where Horford and the Celtics will look to take a 3-1 lead with them back to the Bay Area.
