EWU announces dates for MBB international tour
Jul. 27—CHENEY — Eastern Washington University Athletics announced dates for the men's basketball team's upcoming 11-day international tour, where the team will be playing in both England and Spain.
The trip has a goal of creating team chemistry as well as learning about the different cultures and traditions of other countries the release stated, and the Eagles will begin their international tour at the University of Essex in London for an exhibition game on Aug. 18.
Next, Eastern will travel to Spain for exhibition games in Málaga and Madrid on Aug. 21 (The Embassy, Fuengirola) and Aug. 25 (Zentro Academy), respectively.
The Eagles will be in London from Aug. 16-19, Málaga from Aug. 19-23 and Madrid from Aug. 23-26.
