ESPN updates college football power rankings after Week 5

Just when you think you know something, it turns out, maybe you don’t.

Such is the nature of college football. 10 AP top 25 teams were upset on Saturday, completely shaking up the middle of the pack across the sport. Meanwhile, Georgia needed some late heroics to be able to escape a trip to Columbia, where it had been dominated by Missouri for much of Saturday evening.

Which teams are going to stand out of the pack? At the top, will it be Alabama, Ohio State, still Georgia, or another team like Michigan? How does an undefeated team like Kansas figure in? Which one-loss team is an exception to the rule?

ESPN updated its power rankings with Week 5 in the books. Here’s the current pecking order of college football.
