English Premier League: Predictions, picks and odds for Liverpool vs. Manchester City
Liverpool, the current leader of the English Premier League, is set to host Manchester City, the second-ranked team in current standings, on Sunday at Anfield in what promises to be an epic match-up.
The top two teams in the league are separated by only one point, and Liverpool's manager, Jurgen Klopp, wants his side to extend their lead by four points over Pep Guardiola's Manchester City.
Despite key players struggling with injuries this season, Liverpool has been playing exceptionally well lately. In their campaign for the title, Liverpool has a record of 19 wins, six losses, and two draws this Premier League season, and they currently lead with 63 points.
Liverpool could be in a better position as they host City and have only lost one of the last 20 home matches against Manchester City in the Premier League. That defeat came in a 4-1 loss in 2021.

Pep Guardiola has done a fantastic job (as usual) of pushing the right buttons and his side has responded. As for Liverpool, they've been nothing short of stellar this season, despite being without Mo Salah for the majority of it. Darwin Nunez is rounding into a fine striker, and the team is never out of a game because of it. Just look at some of the late equalizers/winners he's been a part of this season to rescue them. My concern with Liverpool lies in their extensive list of injury woes, which inadvertently provides Man City with bulletin board material."

Despite Liverpool's relentless form, betting sites are not overlooking City in the Premier League title odds as they remain favourites to clinch a fourth successive crown."

Guardiola's side may not be perfect at the back, but they have continued to grind out results against stubborn defences and the same should happen on Sunday."
