Enes Kanter had no idea he was ejected after going face-to-face with Giannis Antetokounmpo

New York Knicks center Enes Kanter had a rough day Thursday. Prior to the team’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks, Kanter was benched in favor of Luke Kornet. During Thursday’s game, he may have taken out his frustration on Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Kanter was ejected from the contest in the fourth quarter after getting in Antetokounmpo’s face following a hard foul.

Kanter was called for a double technical after arguing with Antetokounmpo. That resulted in an automatic ejection. Antetokounmpo received one technical foul for his actions during the altercation.

When asked about the ejection following the game, Kanter said he had no idea he was ejected.

Kanter said he left the game to get stitches above his eye. You can see Kanter wearing a bandaid over his left eye in the video. He didn’t realize he was ejected from the contest.

Even Kristaps Porzingis had something to say about the incident. He was not happy with the Bucks.

Kanter may have come into Thursday’s game looking to let off some steam. Shortly after news broke that Kanter would be demoted, he sent out a tweet with nothing but a facepalm emoji.

On top of all that, the Knicks went on the lose the contest 112-96, ensuring a bad day got even worse for Kanter.
