El Paso Runners Foundation to honor marathon volunteers, sponsors, runners

The El Paso Runners Foundation will have a special get-together Tuesday to thank and honor everyone who helped make last month’s 2024 El Paso Marathon races a success.

The gathering will be from 6-7:30 p.m., at the Hilton Garden Inn at 111 W. University Ave. The El Paso Runners Foundation — organizer of the Michelob Ultra El Paso Marathon, Raiz Half Marathon and Spine & RehabSpecialists 5K — will thank sponsors, volunteers, charity partners and all who participated in making the border region’s signature races a reality.

Special designated charities will receive donations from race proceeds and plans will be discussed for the 2025 marathon races, which are scheduled for February 23, 2025.

More than 3,600 runners showed up for this year's annual celebration of El Paso's running community, which included the Raiz Federal Credit Union Half Marathon and the Spine & Rehab Specialists 5K (3.1 miles).
