East quarterback has huge four-touchdown game: Section V's top performances from Thursday
Here are the top performances during the Section V football games on Thursday during the third block of games this season:
Shemir Bridges, McQuaid: The senior recovered two fumbles, including the game-winner that halt a last-minute drive during a 35-28 comeback win over Fairport.
Anthony Diaz, East/World of Inquiry: A senior who plans to play college football with the Army Knights, he returned a punt 58 yards for a touchdown during his team's 53-6 win over Spencerport. Erv Wiggins also had a return for a touchdown, a 24-yard interception.
Will DiMarco, McQuaid: The junior quarterback completed 17 of 30 passes for 225 yards and three touchdowns, and rushed for 33 yards and another score, in McQuaid 35-28 comeback win over Fairport.
Caleb Felski, Pembroke: Rushed for 100 yards and two touchdowns on six carries during a 42-14 win over Bolivar-Richburg.
Cam Freeman, Irondequoit: Finished with a 12-yard touchdown reception, returned a fumble 96 yards for a touchdown, made eight tackles and had 55 rushing yards on 12 carries during his team's 35-11 win at Brockport.
Section V's top games Thursday: McQuaid halts Fairport's final drive to stay unbeaten
Joseph Garcia, Gates Chili: Spartans tri-captain rushed for 136 yards on 9 carries, including a 61-yard run for a touchdown, during his team's 34-0 win over Greece Athena. Jonathan Vance, Trimaine Pulley, Anthony Vazquez and Quentin Cato also had a rushing touchdown.
John Harding, McQuaid: The senior running back had 18 carries for 105 yards and a touchdown, caught three passes for 22 yards and another score, and had tackles on defense, during McQuaid's 35-28 comeback win over Fairport.
Matthew Heininger, Brighton: Recorded five tackles and a fumble recovery during a 43-6 win over Eastridge. Thomas Welker had two of his four tackles go for losses, and Grady Hopkins had five tackles.
Zymier Jackson, East/World of Inquiry: Senior quarterback threw three touchdown passes while completing 15 of 21 throws for 268 yards and had 59 rushing yards with a touchdown during a 53-6 win over Spencerport.

Levi Kulick, Webster Thomas: Quarterback threw two touchdown passes while completing 14 of 23 for 185 yards and rushed for 66 yards on 12 carries during a 26-21 win over Penfield.
Jayden Lain, Brighton: Rushed seven times for 72 yards and a touchdown, and caught an 18-yard reception, during a 43-6 win over Eastridge.
Taiden Makubire, Irondequoit: Threw a touchdown pass and had a touchdown run to help lead the Eagles to a 35-11 win at Brockport.
Sean Marlin, Webster Thomas: Intercepted a pass and made two receptions for 62 yards with a touchdown, as the Titans came from behind to defeat Penfield 26-21.
Octavius Martin, Pembroke: Led the defense with nine tackles. Vijay Dhanda and Jayden Bridge each had eight tackles during a 42-14 win over Bolivar-Richburg.
Tyler Martinovich, Brighton: Completed 4 of 11 passes for 114 yards and a touchdown during a 43-6 win over Eastridge.
Eoin Meyer, McQuaid: The senior caught an interception, collected six solo tackles and three assisted tackles, and rushed for 37 yards, during a 35-28 win over Fairport.
Marco Morelli, Webster Thomas: Scored two touchdowns while rushing for 46 yards on eight carries during the Titans' 26-21 win over Penfield.
Patrick Nobes, Fairport: The senior caught five passes for 60 yards, rushed for 26 yards, and caught an interception, during a 35-28 loss at McQuaid.
Mason Overton, Victor: Kicked a 22-yard field goal to give the Blue Devils the winning points for a 15-14 win over Webster Schroeder.
Brenton Paladino, McQuaid: The senior receiver caught seven passes for 100 yards and two touchdowns, including a 48-yarder as time expired in the first half, to help McQuaid come-from-behind to defeat Fairport 35-28.
Gavin Parks, Brighton: Rushed eight times for 134 yards and touchdowns of 31 and 67 yards during a 43-6 win over Eastridge.
Ryan Pedro, Fairport: The senior made field goals of 21 and 17 yards and two PATs during a 35-28 loss at McQuaid.
James Poligone, Fairport: The senior receiver had six receptions for 83 yards during a 35-28 loss at McQuaid.
Sam Pucci, Fairport: The senior receiver had eight receptions for 100 yards and a touchdown during a 35-28 loss at McQuaid.
Sammy Renica, Pittsford: Safety made eight tackles, freshman outside linebacker James Mobley and defensive tackle Drew Thurley seven, including 1 1/2 sacks, as the Panthers won 6-0 at Aquinas.
Jackson Rucker, Fairport: The senior quarterback completed 19 of 31 passes for 231 yards and a touchdown, and rushed 12 times for 89 yards and two scores, during a 35-28 loss at McQuaid.
Adam Ruffalo, Victor: Made 10 tackles, carried seven times for 42 yards and caught 6 passes for 42 yards during a 15-14 win for the Blue Devils over Webster Schroeder.
Dominic Sansone, McQuaid: The senior made all five PATs during a 35-28 comeback win over Fairport.
Amari Snowden, Brighton: Rushed four times for 45 yards and a touchdown during a 43-6 win over Eastridge.
Wes Sturrup, Brighton: Caught a 73-yard touchdown and rushed for a 43-yard score during a 43-6 win over Eastridge.
Tyson Totten, Pembroke: Rushed for 177 yards and four touchdowns on eight carries, and caught three interceptions, during a 42-14 win over Bolivar-Richburg
Matt Wilson, McQuaid: The senior safety caught an interception, six tackles, and one assisted tackle, during a 35-28 win over Fairport.
Jeremiah Tucker, East/World of Inquiry: Led the team with 15 tackles, three for a loss of yardage, against a run-heavy Spencerport offense during a 53-6 win at East High.
Perrion Williams, East/World of Inquiry: Caught four passes, two for touchdowns, and finished with 114 receiving yards, plus had 16 tackles against Spencerport's run-heavy offense during a 53-6 win at East.
Myles Wynn, Irondequoit: Junior running back had a team-high 114 yards on 22 carries with a touchdown, as the Eagles defeated Brockport 35-11.
Dre Yeomas, Victor: Gained 146 yards on 15 carries, including a short touchdown run, and had a quarterback sack as a defender during the team's 15-14 win over Webster Schroeder.
