Eagles officially clinch a playoff spot after 49ers win and Falcons lose
Despite adversity on both sides of the football, Philadelphia will enter Monday night’s matchup against Seattle in the playoffs after the 49ers win over the Cardinals and the Falcons lose to the Panthers.
The Eagles had nine different clinching scenarios, and two played out perfectly.

They move ahead of the 10-4 Cowboys in the NFC East with a 10-3 record — at least temporarily — after Dallas lost to the Bills.

Philadelphia also regains the top spot in the NFC East after the Cowboys’ blowout loss to the Buffalo Bills.
