Dwyane Wade and LeBron James have rediscovered their synergy after a rough start to the season. The Cleveland Cavaliers possess the NBA’s longest active winning streak and Wade is staving off Father Time well enough to contribute significantly off the bench to start games and closing them alongside King James and company.

One thing he hasn’t regained is the spring in his legs. James catching defenses sleeping by dishing to a cutting Wade used to be a staple of the Miami Heat’s offense during their four seasons on South Beach. During the Cavaliers’ resounding victory against the Philadelphia 76ers, Wade attempted to snag a lob, but failed to lift off, spun and collapsed onto his back. It was a cruel reminder of time’s passage.

In 25 minutes, Wade recorded 15 points, five assists and threw in two blocks to help propel Cleveland to a 113-91 win.
