What does Iowa football’s all-time series history look like against Oregon, Washington?

On Friday, the Oregon Ducks and Washington Huskies became the Big Ten’s 17th and 18th conference members in a historic day for college football and college athletics.

“We are excited to welcome the University of Oregon and the University of Washington to the Big Ten Conference,” Big Ten Commissioner Tony Petitti said of the pair’s arrival. “We look forward to building long-lasting relationships with the universities, administrators and staff, student-athletes, coaches and fans. Both institutions feature a combination of academic and athletic excellence that will prove a great fit for our future.”

With Oregon and Washington in the fold, the Big Ten now owns the biggest brands along the west coast. The Ducks and Huskies will join USC and UCLA as full-time members beginning on Aug. 2, 2024.

In the past, we’ve run down what Iowa’s all-time series history looks like against both the Trojans and Bruins. Iowa trails USC in the all-time series, 3-7. The last meeting was a 49-24 Hawkeye rout of the Trojans in the 2019 Holiday Bowl.

The Hawkeyes also trail UCLA in its all-time series, 3-6. The last meeting was a 45-28 win by the Bruins in the 1986 Rose Bowl.
