LAS CRUCES - The All-District teams were released this week for District 3-5A baseball and softball.

Centennial infielder/pitcher Steven Milam and Las Cruces pitcher Steve Solorzano shared baseball Player of the Year honors.

Milam signed with LSU and Solorzano has signed to play for New Mexico State.

Hawks coach Rusty Evans was named Coach of the Year following a season in which the Hawks reached the Class 5A state championship game.

The Centennial softball team went 15-0 in district play and entered the state tournament as the No. 1 seed and undefeated. The Hawks had seven players earn All District honors.
