DETAILS: Baltimore Ravens cut 9, Place 2 on Injured Reserve
The Baltimore Ravens cut and waived nine players and put two others on season-ending IR in order to begin the league-mandated trim down to 75 roster players by Tuesday afternoon.
TE Benjamin Watson was placed on IR as expected after his torn achilles injury was sustained on the first play fro scrimmage in Saturday’s game vs. the Lions.
CB Kyle Arrington was also placed on IR, as he suffed a concussion in preseason week 1 vs. the Carolina Panthers. Arrington was a longshot to make the team due to improved play and dearth of CBs on a achieving Ravens preseason secondary.
