Derrion Battle runs wild for streaking Aquinas: Section V's top performances Friday

Matt Allen, Red Jacket: Rushed 10 times for 193 yards and three touchdown runs of 2, 54 and 19 yards during a 72-32 win over Finney. He also had 10 tackles on defense.

Darius Asberry, Lyons/Sodus: Threw three touchdown passes while completing 8 of 17 attempts for 161 yards and ran for two touchdowns during a 34-16 win over Hornell.

Derrion Battle, Aquinas: Scored two touchdowns while rushing for 181 yards on 28 carries as Aquinas defeated Penfield 27-0.

Trent Battles, Aquinas: Freshman scored on a quarterback sneak and completed 10 of 14 passes for `115 yards as Aquinas defeated Penfield 27-0.

Maggio Buchholz, Batavia: Caught a touchdown pass and made 6.5 tackles during the team's 36-0 win over Geneva.

Miles Caviness, East Rochester/Gananda: Grabbed two touchdown passes among five receptions for 97 yards, returned an interception for a touchdown and made six tackles during a 42-14 win over Penn Yan/Dundee.

Jackson Cook, Livonia: Recorded five tackles and an interception during a 42-0 loss to Attica/Alexander. Zach Williamson had five tackles and a fumble recovery.

Anthony Diaz, East High/World of Inquiry: Senior receiver made five receptions for 75 yards to help the Eagles win 27-17 at Pittsford Sutherland.

John DiBattisto, Hilton: Recorded 10 solo tackles during a 24-21 loss to McQuaid.

Reece Dixon, Dansville/Wayland-Cohocton: Had five receptions for 81 yards and a touchdown during a 29-21 loss to Wayne.

Vijary Dhanda, Pembroke: Scored a 50-yard touchdown on offense and had 11 tackles on defense during a 68-22 win over Section VI's Allegany-Limestone.

Nathan Earl, McQuaid: Recorded two sacks during a 24-21 win at Hilton. Aiden Jones sacked the quarterback on the final drive.

Caleb Felski, Pembroke: Rushed for 100 yards and a touchdown on seven carries during a 68-22 win over Section VI's Allegany-Limestone. He also collected nine tackles.

Mekhi Fortes, Batavia: Gained 111 yards and scored a touchdown on five carries during a 36-0 win for the Blue Devils over Geneva.

Nate Gardner, Dansville/Wayland-Cohocton: Completed 13 of 22 passes for 169 yards and a touchdown during a 29-21 loss to Wayne. He also rushed for 50 yards and two touchdowns.

Mason Hale, Red Jacket: Returned a fumble 52 yards for a touchdown during a 72-32 win over Finney.

Anthony Hampton, East High/World of Inquiry: Scored twice while carrying 11 times for 91 yards during a 27-17 win at Pittsford Sutherland.

John Harding, McQuaid: Scored two touchdowns during a 24-21 win at Hilton.

Micah Harshfield, Red Jacket: Rushed 14 times for 302 yards and five touchdowns on carries of 5, 15, 70, 47 and 60 yards during a 72-32 win over Finney.

Brady Henchen, Dansville/Wayland-Cohocton: Recorded 10 tackles during a 29-21 loss to Wayne. Logan Aldrich had eight tackles, one for a loss.

Case Hill, Attica/Alexander: Two of his seven tackles went for losses during a 42-0 win over Livonia. Clayton Bezon added nine tackles.

Zymier Jackson, East High/World of Inquiry: Eagles quarterback threw a touchdown pass while completing 22 of 31 attempts for 256 yards during a 27-17 win over Pittsford.

Vernon Jinks, Sodus/Lyons: Led the team with Conner Pullen by making 10 tackles during a 34-16 win over Hornell.

Caleb Knapp, Dansville/Wayland-Cohocton: Recorded nine tackles, one for a loss, during a 29-21 loss to Wayne. Aiden Schafter had five tackles and a sack.

Luke Lockhart, Hilton: Registered four catches for 65 yards at receiver and caught an interception on defense during a 24-21 loss to McQuaid.

Robert Lowry, Hilton: Rushed 22 times for 92 yards and a touchdown on offense, and returned a kick 97 yards for another score, during a 24-21 loss to McQuaid.

Tyler Marino, Attica/Alexander: Rushed five times for 74 yards and two touchdowns during a 42-0 win over Livonia.

Eoin Meyer, McQuaid: Scored a rushing touchdown and made key defensive plays at linebacker during a 24-21 win at Hilton.

Dawson Neal, Letchworth/Perry/Warsaw: Caught an interception and recorded four tackles during a 32-0 win over Haverling. Andy Kelly and Beau Slocum each caught interceptions too.

Ben Newman, East Rochester/Gananda: Threw four touchdown passes while completing 15 of 18 passes for 230 yards during a 42-14 win over Penn/Dundee.

Jordan Nunn, Noah Mather East Rochester/Gananda: Each player intercepted a pass, as the Bombers defeated Penn Yan/Dundee 42-14.

Levi Pearl, Attica/Alexander: Rushed six times for 71 yards and a touchdown during a 42-0 win over Livonia.

Stefomnn Pinkston, Lyons/Sodus: Gained 125 yards on 19 carries, including a 29-yard run, during a 34-16 win over Hornell.

Bailey Schell, Letchworth/Perry/Warsaw: Scored three touchdowns during a 119-yard night on 13 carries during a 32-0 win over Haverling.

Jawil Sirmons, Sodus/Lyons: Scored on a 71-yard pass play, returned a kickoff 69 yards, finished with 76 receiving yards, forced a fumble, recovered a fumble and made seven tackles during a 34-16 win over Hornell.

Caden Sumeriski, Letchworth/Perry/Warsaw: Rushed nine times for 73 yards and a touchdown during a 32-0 win over Haverling.

Colton Thorp, Hilton: Completed 10 of 17 passes for 147 yards and a touchdown pass to Conner Bellanca during a 24-21 loss to McQuaid.

Tyson Totten, Pembroke: Scored six touchdowns on 19 carries for 275 yards during a 68-22 win over Section VI's Allegany-Limestone. He returned an interception back for a score on defense.

Jeremiah Tucker, East High/World of Inquiry: Made 25 tackles, one for a loss, during a 27-17 win over Pittsford.

Zaiden Vandurme-Blackmon, Dansville/Wayland-Cohocton: Caught an interception and had four tackles on defense, and had 34 receiving yards, during a 29-21 loss to Wayne.

Hasen Wetherbee, Red Jacket: Scored a 20-yard touchdown run on offense and collected an interception and six tackles on defense during a 72-32 win over Finney.

Trent Woods, Attica/Alexander: Accounted for three total touchdowns, throwing two and scoring on a 70-yard rush. he finished with 103 passing yards and 81 rushing yards during a 42-0 win over Livonia.

Taylor Zimmerman, Attica/Alexander: Recorded nine tackles during a 42-0 win over Livonia. Robbie Becker had two of this seven tackles go for losses.
