Derick Hall named to SEC All-Breakout Team
Auburn is ready for a breakout type season for their best pass rusher from a season ago.
Derick Hall has been named to the Athlon Sports All-Breakout Team. Hall is the lone Auburn player on the list.
Athlon Sports listed six defensive linemen as part of their defensive selection. They had Hall as one of those linemen.
Hall may play multiple positions for Auburn’s defense in 2021 as Derek Mason is expected to run multiple different looks in the front seven. Hall could line up at defensive ends as well as an outside linebacker in pass-rushing situations.
In 2020, Hall had 21 total tackles and 3.5 sacks on the year.
