David Montgomery, Detroit Lions running back from Mt. Healthy HS, carted off with injury
Detroit Lions running back and former Mount Healthy High School standout David Montgomery was carted to the locker room with a leg injury during his team's Week 2 game against the Seattle Seahawks.
After the game, Lions head coach Dan Campbell said Montgomery has a thigh bruise, and the team will know more about the injury Monday.
Montgomery, in his first season with the Lions, had 67 rushing yards on 16 carries with a touchdown and one catch for seven yards before leaving the game.
Montgomery played his first four seasons for the Chicago Bears.
