Darius Slay talks ‘whoopin’ Giants for James Bradberry; Switching to WR for Jalen Hurts

The Eagles dominated the Giants on Sunday, coming away with a 48-22 win at MetLife Stadium.

Jalen Hurts was phenomenal on the afternoon, tossing three touchdown passes, and rushing for another one while making NFL history in the process.

Philadelphia also dominated on defense and played inspired by the return of James Bradberry to New York for the first time since being released.

Darius Slay was all talk after the game and addressed Jalen Hurts’ big game and the whooping they put on the Giants for Bradberry.

Slay and Bradberry have formed a bond, so it was only natural for the Eagles to want the star cornerback to shine in his return to New York.

Slay had previously talked about playing wide receiver and saw snaps in 2021 at the position.

Now he’s looking for a full-time role after watching Jalen Hurts deliver dimes to Quez Watkins. Philadelphia’s star cornerback believes he can be a 1,500-yard wide receiver catching passes from Hurts.
