Danilo Gallinari, Nuggets nip Pacers, 76-73

Ty Lawson earned his 15th double-double this season, scoring 15 points and registering 10 assists, to help the Denver Nuggets sneak by the Indiana Pacers, 76-73. Denver (12-15) has won just three of its last 10 games.

Lawson finished 6-16 from the field. J.J. Hickson also contributed for Denver, finishing with 10 points and five rebounds. Despite the loss, David West scored 19 points for Indiana on 8-22 shooting (1-3 on 3-point attempts), in addition to going 2-5 from the free throw line. He also tallied 10 rebounds and five assists.

The Pacers had an eFG% of just 34.7% coupled with a low FTA rate of 19.3. This season, they are 1-3 when they fall below 45% and 20.0 in those respective metrics. Conversely, the Nuggets are 1-0 when forcing their opponents below those thresholds.

This drops Indiana (8-19) to 0-2 versus Denver on the season.
