D’Anthony Bell not resting, gets second pick as a Brown vs. Bengals

The Cleveland Browns are resting most of their starters against the rival Bengals in a game that doesn’t matter for either team. Second-year safety D’Anthony Bell, who has stepped up this year, was able to secure his second career interception off of Jake Browning of the Cincinnati Bengals in the first quarter of the final regular season game.

The Browns have had to lean on their depth at safety this year with several major injuries to the position. Bell has been one of the players that has been asked to step up this year and he has been up to the challenge. He has come a long way since being an undrafted free agent last year.

Cleveland is getting a good look at their young depth players this week with the playoffs coming up next week. Browns fans should also be keeping an eye on the Jaguars game which will help choose their opponent for the Wild Card round.
