Portuguese soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has added yet another fantastic car to his incredible collection: a Ferrari Daytona SP3. He was recently filmed in Lisbon, Portugal pulling up to the Four Season Hotel in the Italian supercar, which is appropriately red and ultra sexy.

With a price of $2.2 million, the Ferrari Daytona SP3 isn’t something you’ll see at many car shows. Production has been capped at just 599 examples globally. But just having the money to buy one isn’t enough as the Italian automaker is famous for being extremely picky about who can buy which new vehicle.
As the third in Ferrari’s dramatic Icona series, all of which are limited-production models, the Daytona SP3 is based off the much-lauded LaFerrari Aperta. Although instead of aggressive body lines, this supercar is voluptuous, curvaceous, hearkening back to racecars of yesteryear.
Power comes from a V12 engine used in the 812 Competizione but with output dialed up to 829-horsepower. The 9,500 rpm redline encourages drivers to really drop the hammer, while handling is said to be superb. We expect nothing less from Ferrari and suspect neither does Ronaldo.
With millions in cash, Ronaldo is no stranger to exotic, high-performance cars. Back in January we covered how he acquired a Ferrari Purosangue, the first and only crossover to emerge from the Prancing Horse stable.
He owns a number of other Ferraris, plus a Lamborghini Aventador LP 700, Bugatti Brigade, McLaren Senna, Rolls-Royce Cullinan, Aston Martin DB9, Maserati GranCabrio, and many more impressive rides.
Reportedly, the total value of Cristiano Ronaldo’s car collection is about $18 million.
It’s obvious the world-famous athlete, debatably one of the best soccer players ever, loves his cars. And we doubt this is the last impressive vehicle to join his garage.
