Cowboys QB Dak Prescott confident Ezekiel Elliott will help Patriots

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has nothing but love for former teammate Ezekiel Elliott. Prescott had praise when speaking about his former running back.

He came into the league as a fourth-round pick in the 2016 NFL draft. Elliott was his classmate, as the running back was selected fourth overall. Together, they played more than 75 games and were able to make the Pro Bowl on multiple occasions.

Now, Prescott will have to get used to life without Elliott, who signed a one-year deal with the Patriots. Prescott had nothing but praise for his former teammate, as noted in a report from ESPN’s Mike Reiss.

It will be interesting to see exactly what impact Elliott makes in the New England running back room. At the very least, he gives the team depth beyond Rhamondre Stevenson.
