You can vote for the Athlete of the Week from all winter IHSAA sports across Southwestern Indiana. There were several standout individual performances to choose from. Who will get your vote?

The nominees this week for Courier & Press Athlete of the Week from February 26-March 2:

Josiah Dunham, Evansville Christian: The senior led the way with 31.5 points per game in two sectional victories, as the Eagles won their first sectional title.

Reid Howard, Forest Park: The senior averaged 19.7 points across three sectional victories including 28 in the opening round versus Tell City.

Taray Howell, Bosse: The senior averaged 27.5 points in two sectional victories including 33 in a championship win over Memorial.

Braydon Knepp, Barr-Reeve: The senior scored a game-high 21 points for the Vikings in a five-overtime sectional championship win against Orleans.

Shane Sims, Harrison: The junior averaged 21 points in two sectional victories and went over 1,000 for his career in the Warriors' championship win against Jasper.

Tate Whitehead, Southridge: The junior averaged 15.7 points in three sectional victories and went 15 of 16 at the free-throw line for the Raiders.
