Corbin Carroll's historic rookie season for Arizona Diamondbacks lauded on social media

A star has been born on the baseball field in Arizona this season.

Corbin Carroll, the Diamondbacks' rookie outfielder, has become a sensation with his glove and bat this season.

And his feet.

Carroll swiped his 50th stolen base of the season in Arizona's 7-1 win over the San Francisco Giants on Wednesday.

He also hit his 25th home run of the season.

The shot made him the first rookie and just the ninth player in major league history to have 25 homers and 50 steals in a season.
