Conor McGregor will fight Michael Chandler in UFC 303. Here are the opening odds

For the first time in nearly three years, UFC fighter Conor McGregor is returning to the Octagon, and opening odds are out for the fight.

UFC CEO Dana White announced at Saturday's UFC 300 event that McGregor will fight Michael Chandler in the UFC 303 main event in Las Vegas on June 29. The fight will be a welterweight bout contested at 170 pounds.

McGregor (22-6) is now 35 years old and hasn't fought since his UFC 264 TKO loss (broken leg) to Dustin Poirier in July 2021. Part of the reason for that hiatus, according to White, was McGregor's commitment to star in the recently released "Road House" remake alongside Jake Gyllenhaal.

He hasn't won a fight since January 2020, when he defeated Donald Cerrone by TKO.
